Interior style:
Colorful with boldness but a cohesive whole. It's hard to pigeonhole because our house is really us and a tad different than different 😉 I always call it my Pippi Longstocking house. The home at Eef style 😉
Property:
Small, cute detached house in a village. Small upstairs, more spacious downstairs but lovely green outside.
Personal 'deco motto':
Dare! Dare to do that color on the wall or go for something different than usual. What's the worst that can happen? You can always repaint it 😉
Think differently: take home swatches and see what looks and what doesn't. And definitely dare to go DIY. My husband and I make pretty much everything ourselves. What we come up with comes out of our hands. From a self-built sauna in the canopy to a self-designed office. If we've never made something before, we immerse ourselves in it so we can. And of course, sometimes things go wrong but we learn from that.
Recycling. We are really fans here at home because first of all it saves money and secondly you really have something unique.
If I had a lot of money left I would invest even more in our garden and e.g. a very nice big glass front. And secretly another kitchen.
Red , purple and orange.
Wood and stone.
My dream has always been to have a (small) farm with a piece of land. Who knows someday but we also live here incredibly well.
We would still like to address the upstairs bathroom. It is 30 years old and in need of replacement. Also on the planning is the garden. We really live outside a lot and want to make it more beautiful.
If I'm very honest, I don't look up to anyone. I think it's cool when someone follows their passion and I like to be inspired. But I like doing my own thing (laughs).
Actually, neither did I. Boring huh. I never really care much who makes what or who invents what. If I like something, I like something. And then I don't care where it comes from.
I like to do what suits me. Some trends I absolutely love and others I let pass by.
I hope with a lot more color!
I was really received so incredibly warmly by the family business. I find their drive really insane. In addition, the furniture is all great. And it is so nice that you can combine everything with each other.
Moreover, each piece of furniture tells a story because of the history behind this brand.
